AURELIA
 The Farmers Elevator Company was formed over one hundred years ago in 1907. Since then it has reorganized twice. First as Farmers Cooperative Company in 1937 and then became a part of the First cooperative Association in 1997. Many changes have taken place in the past one hundred years.
SERVICES AND PRODUCTS OFFERED THROUGH THE AURELIA LOCATION ARE:
FEED:
The liquid protein delivery and storage is distributed from the Aurelia location. Central warehousing of bag and block feeds are distributed from the warehouses in Aurelia as well. Doug Davis, our Pork Enterprise Consultant headquarters from the Aurelia office. Marc Hinners, our Beef Consultant services the area on a routine basis.
AGRONOMY:
Aurelia serves as the hub for the 32 % nitrogen fabrication and distribution for FCA. This facility has the capabilities of receiving product truck or rail with storage capacity of one million gallons. In 2008 construction began on the state of the art Dry blend fertilizer facility. This modern plant has storage capacity of 27,000 ton of product. Holding bins with 200 tons of capacity sit above two 12 ton vertical blenders. This facility services FCA customers in a 30 mile diameter of Aurelia.
Farm chemicals along with custom application equipment is also a service from the Aurelia location. Anhydrous Ammonia service center is also supplied from this site. The agronomy division is serviced by an on staff agronomist and fertilizer plant manager.
GRAIN:
Aurelia has storage capacity of 3.491 million bushels of grain, along with a 3000 bushel per hour drier to accommodate the grain producers in the area. Aurelia has rail load out capacity for 50 car unit trains for both corn and soybeans. Being a unit train shipper allows Aurelia to receive grain form the other locations for rail shipment. The most recent storage facility built was the flat storage building in 1995 with one million storage capacity. One grain semi is also dispatched from Aurelia.
PETROLEUM:
A cardtrol facility is available for customer use 24-7. The bulk storage fuel facility located at Aurelia has a total capacity of 320,000 gallons for varied fuels. This facility services the central part of the trade area. The liquid petroleum storage tank at Aurelia is utilized by the delivery personal from the Alta location. Two service Technicians and one LP office assistant also work within the Aurelia location. These people service the trade area for First Cooperative. Packaged oils and lubes can also be purchased from this location.
